Shane is an international financial speaker, trader and investor with over 10 years of experience trading and investing in local and international stocks, ETFs and currency.
Coming from a humble beginning, he learned the importance of money and investment in improving the quality of life. Back in 2008, he saw an opportunity to invest in the market during the global financial crisis. He took his student loan (PTPTN) to invest in the stock market, and he has never looked back since.
After spending a decade in honing his craft, Shane has made his way up to be one of the most sought-after educators in the industry. He believes everyone deserves a financially stable life and the key to achieve that is through prudent investing. The strong conviction leads him to founding WealthFort International, dedicated to empowering individuals to achieve sustainable wealth.
Shane is a Certified Professional Trainer by IPMA, UK, and a HRD Corp Accredited Trainer. As a trainer, he is often engaged by investment banks and securities firms to train their retail clients in investment. Among the financial institutions he has served include Bursa Malaysia, Singapore Exchange, RHB Investment Bank, Hong Leong Investment Bank, Kenanga Investment Bank, Maybank Investment Bank, CIMB Bank, Affin Bank, Alliance Bank, AmInvestment Bank, Affin Hwang Capital, CGS International Securities, TA Securities, Public Investment Bank, Phillip Capital, Macquarie Group, Société Générale, Futu Financial, eToro, and many others.
Since 2015, Shane has been appointed by Malaysia’s National Stock Exchange – Bursa Malaysia to design and conduct investment curriculum to young investors and retail investors worldwide. He has been invited as a guest speaker by over 20 universities to teach the students about investment.
Shane is featured in “Successful People In Malaysia” Encyclopedia, 2nd Edition, published by Britishpedia. He is also a regular guest on TV and radio shows to share about personal finance, entrepreneurship, economy, trading and investment.
